A first for pharmacy at NMMU - – a Fulbright Scholar!

Abstract


Pharmacy staff and students at NMMU were delighted to get confirmation that this Pharmacy Department now has its first Fulbright scholar. Ms Milli Reddy left South Africa on 1 August in time for the start of the Fall 2006 semester in order to take up her placement for her Fulbright Scholarship. She will be admitted to the PhD programme in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin in the United States of America. This PhD programme will further equip Milli for her intended career in research in either an academic or pharmaceutical industry setting.
